About Me

Hi there, I’m Michelle, and I’m a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. I completed my studies in Melbourne at the Southern School of Natural Therapies and at the University of California, Los Angeles. I also undertook an internship at the Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei. In addition to formal studies, I have participated in multiple internships with a few of Australia’s leading TCM practitioners and continue now to develop and enrich my practice.

Growing up in a Chinese household and having lived in Asia for 6 years has informed much of my passion for Chinese Medicine, which incorporates both traditional and modern knowledge. I aim to practice with warmth and attention and approach healing from an integrative perspective. This includes encouraging the body’s systems to heal itself, while also incorporating movement, meals, and lifestyle habits into my treatment plans.

Outside the clinic I lead an active lifestyle. I am often found hiking, playing tennis, or in the kitchen cooking up something to share.

I believe in transparent and honest communication, aiming to extend my sense of community and provide a safe space for healing to all who may need it.

I hold special interest in helping patients with:

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin nation, the traditional owners of the land on which my clinic stands and on which I practice. I extend my respects to their elders, past and present, and to all First Nations peoples and elders.
